"Two nights using the hotel as a base to visit Nova Gorica and Bled. Breakfast buffet was extensive - continental choices plus scrambled eggs and British sausage. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. The dining room staff sometimes does double duty at registration desk. Lots of tourist information. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk and train station is a couple of minutes longer."

"We had a lovely stay at Vila Alpina. The room was clean and spacious the bed was comfy and there was plenty of parking. The communal outdoor space was really nice. The Vila is a short walk to the lake and the nearest restaurants, and about a 25 minute walk round to the larger town centre. The man on reception was extremely friendly and helpful, giving us lots of great recommendations for restaurants and things to do."

"Parking right next to the hotel (for a fee). We loved the location and ability to easily walk into town. The room was clean and had what we needed. Three negatives: (1) the walls are VERY thin; we could hear our neighbors talking fairly clearly from the hallway and in our room, (2) the shower is very small and was leaking over the floor and (3) there is no elevator so we had to carry our bags up the stairs, but the staff did offer to help! "The owner was lovely, as were rest of the staff. We had a warm welcome and a tour of our room prior to check-in. The Superior room was incredible. Really nicely furnished, clean, plenty of complimentary amenities. We had an amazing meal in the evening - one of the nicest we've had in Slovenia, followed by an equally enjoyable breakfast. The stay was not cheap but certainly worth the price, especially as the B&B is such a short walk from Lake Bled. Parking right in front of the accomodation is...
