We were greeted by someone that spoke no english which was quite uneasy seeing as how we just arrived on the island at 6pm (sunset) and wanted to familiarize ourselves with the space. "The place is located next to the shore. It has a beach and cabanas next to it. The sound of the waves is very relaxing. We did horseback riding with the kids and they loved it. The view of the volcan Concepcion is unbeatable. Howling monkeys and others animals are present on site. We stayed in the family cabin and it had a view of the volcano and animals. It was very relaxing! Good restaurant, but the paraiso restaurant, at 15min walk on the beach, is something else!"

"My friend and I got the all-inclusive for food and drink, as well as taking surfing lessons, and the shuttle back. Our rooms were clean, bathroom was really large, especially the shower. There were many bugs, birds, lizards, etc. which was fun! The food is good, breakfast is a large portion while lunch and dinner can be a little smaller. The bar was amazing, especially our server Ciaro, he absolutely made our stay. All the staff were incredibly nice, and patient with our lack of understanding or speaking Spanish. The surfing lessons were a little pricey compared to other experiences we had in Nicaragua. I’d probably look for something a little more budget friendly next time! The shuttle to the airport was great, a little late but nothing crazy, just ensure you don’t have a tight deadline! Overall, really enjoyed our time."

"Property is beautiful, staff is very friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were delicious! the infinity pool looks different on pictures definitely not an infinity pool. The view was breathtaking, worth the drive up the steep mountain, I highly recommend to check in early so you know where you’re going as the drive way is all rugged and ruff. I wasn’t advised that we needed a 4X4 or taller vehicle in order to go up, with out scraping the rocks or boulders. So I had to ask them to help me find a driver to take us up to the hotel. I had to pay an extra fee for a driver to take us up and scheduled him to bring us back down otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to get there and loose our room. And we had to pay for parking to keep our rental in a safe place overnight."

The place is spotless, the pool spotless ! The view amazing ! Breakfast incredible ! You’re a two minute walk from the beach. You’re a two minute walk from everywhere downtown laundry restaurants, shops location is amazing. Ya gotta stay here…. You won’t regret it. !!! I would post some photos, but the photos I took don’t do the place justice . I I highly recommend this place… Do it"

"I've been coming back for more than 20 years, even before the new owners upgraded everything. This hotel is the best value in San Juan Del Sur. Next to cathedral and main park, walk to everything. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and fully bilingual. The neighborhood while very close in is quiet and safe. Its just below Pelican Eyes at half the price. Rooms and beds light, airy and comfortable even at the lower price point. All town's amenities are a few steps away."
