The property was beautiful. Right the base of a ski resort- It was on the west side of the TETONs. Area is stunning. One issue though, there was one maintenance a-hole that was shooting a friendly fox that comes out after everyone was gone. Fox;s name is Speedy. I really would have liked to see the guy try do the same thing to a bear. What a A HOLE. Not nature friendly....

We stayed in early June 2025 so many of the Summer amenities are not fully available or open yet. The restaurants and bars are great. There is something here for everyone in the family to do. Only complaint I have is that the pool / hot tub are open to day passes for local residents. The pool and hot tub were overcrowded and not well monitored. Was trying to relax at the pool / hot tub and it was like being at the McDonald’s play land. The moms will let their kids run wild. They need to keep kids out of the hot tub, no horseplay, and no beach toys / floatables. Additionally, make sure to limit the number of people/kids. Possibly raise the prices to avoid “kiddie land” madness.

Our experience at Grand Targhee Resort was far from pleasant. The room had multiple issues: a non-functional fridge, poor internet that disconnected constantly, and very limited power outlets. The provided charging cables were ineffective. Despite listing multiple restaurants, only one was open — and only until 8 PM. Others remained closed, leaving us with few options for meals. The front desk was unresponsive in the mornings, and water quality was extremely poor, leading to skin irritation. Given the price and expectations of a resort, this was a major letdown. Would not recommend unless serious improvements are made.
