"We’ve stayed at the Holbrooke Hotel many times while visiting family in grass valley. The building itself is charming with a lot of character and the rooms simple, clean, and elegant. The bar is stand out with always excellent cocktails (check out whatever cocktail is on draft) but the food is the best in the area. You’re also on the heart of the few blocks that make up downtown grass valley. "

"Fantastic place! Clean, attractive. This has been recently renovated and is great. In the 60’s, this was Feil’s soda fountain and motel. Went to the fountain when I was in middle school and high school. "

The staffs response was absolutely not and since your coming in late we will turn the A/C on for you. The room was very pleasant when we arrived. As tired as we were, we took the time to take in all the old furniture and layout of the front lobby. We would definitely stay here again. "
