This comfortable, historic house is an amazing find! Great hosts, great rooms and great location!!

This was a beautiful facility and the owner was very friendly and helpful. The location is great if you are into country living, since it is a working farm about a five minute drive from the nearest town. Just be sure to ask for the correct postal code before going because the one given by Hotels.com is incorrect.

The double room was large, with a luxurious bathroom and an adjoining workspace. Breakfast was not only ample but flexible; you could mix any combination of items you wanted. Daniella was helpful in making sure we had everything we wanted.

Great pub, great room, great food.

The room was gorgeous and Sue is the kindest person. Lots of attention to detail and the little things that make your stay special. One issue was low water pressure in the shower due to a temperamental electric device that runs the shower head.

Breakfast was brilliant. Staff was wonderful. Location top notch.

Such a neat location! Wish we could have stayed longer. It was a rushed overnight in transit between sights. The host was so kind. Appreciated the clean room and the breakfast options.

Hazel, Ian and Auntie Chris were wonderful hosts. We had a shared bathroom that was no problem. Beautiful old manse with attractive, professionally gardened grounds. Room was like out of a movie. We had an absolutely lovely stay at The Langley Castle! The staff is fabulous, we definitely recommend taking the tour. Dinner was a work of art, the duck confit was unbelievably delicious. Breakfast was very tasty. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. The Derwentwater Suite was a gem. Highly recommend this property and we will want to visit again!

I stayed here one night on my way down to the Lake District. The food at both dinner and breakfast was excellent as was service. (I particularly appreciated that they had gluten free bread available in the morning.) The room was very clean and charming with french doors opening to a private deck.
