Really well equipped inside and out with good quality throughout. Brilliant location - 15min walk to town centre, 2 mins to large Leclerc, great for a base to explore the wine route. "We stayed for 1.5 weeks in this very pleasant cottage. It has a small kitchen on the ground floor, lounge and dining table on the first floor and a nice bedroom in the attic. The cottage is newly refurbished with new wooden floorboards and beams complementing the original 18th-century ones which gives it a nice atmosphere. The cottage is only a few minutes' walk from the vineyards and the dozens of well-marked trails that criss-cross the Alsace region, including the GR5 route. Barr serves well...

The expectations of our stay in Alsace were exceeded due to our hosts Nicole and Jean-Luc Dreyer and their family, their Alsatian origins, their lovely property and its location in Alsace. The large property is in the middle of an old village on the wine route, hosting historic buildings and gardens; truly unique. The entry is dated 1574.
