"We loved our time here at the Effala suite. It was located right in the middle of the heart of Colmar so lots to see and do outside but there was a nice quiet courtyard inside the gate when you wanted to get away from the crowds. I picked this place for the views out the windows and that did not disappoint. We stayed there early May, so it wasn’t too hot without air conditioning, but may be a factor at other times of year. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again....

"On the 3rd floor so up to lst floor for entry then 18 steps to the rooftop apartment. Very well stocked wuth glassware, crockery and utensils plus soap and flannels. Nice that Madame left a bottle of wine and gave us a typical Alsace cake😀. Great view of maize fields and the next village but no English language TV channel and the bed we both found hard. "This house is the perfect place to stay while exploring Alsace. The location is ideal, in a quiet side street but just a minutes walk from the town center with all the restaurants, shops and sites. The house is spacious, exceptionally clean and has everything you need. "Property better than expected. I am not a smoker so was concerned there would be a smell of cigarettes, but there was not. Apartment is on top floor and has two great terraces. Tram stop into Strasbourg was very close. We used the trams lot and also walked in a few times. The centre was a very pleasant 4km flat walk. Would stay again"
