"We had a nice stay. The property is very rustic but that is communicated in the listing. Excellent location!!"

"It seemed to be kinda located more in downtown area than in a residential area."

"I loved the location, the setup of the house, the eye for detail, and convenience. Great place to stay when visiting the Alpine area."

"My husband and I came for our 31st wedding anniversary. the home is just we were looking for with a beautiful view and close to amenities in Alpine. Very cozy and worked great for our time away to relax and unwind. Highly recommend to others."

"Very. Clean property. Well locate in town. Great communication and smooth check out."

"I loved everything about it!!!! However the patio up top and the stars go great together!! It was by far the most comfy, cute place I’ve stayed. The calm and quiet was an added bonus! This is the way to go when traveling to Alpine! I can’t wait to visit again! Everything you need in a tiny, comfy place."

"Cozy place. Room was clean and location was within city limits. Plan on booking again in the near future."

"Pet friendly"

"The property was beautiful and we loved the remote feeling. The stars were beautiful to watch at night! My only complaint is that two weeks before the reservation I asked about if a portable grill, stovetop burner or small charcoal grill was aloud and then messaged two days before and never received an answer. I did have to contact the host day of to receive the code because somehow I didn’t get an email from the host about check in and WiFi code. That was sorted out when I called instead of...

"Nice and quiet!"

"Clean location. Peaceful and host was very accommodating."

"We stayed here for two nights while visiting the McDonald Observatory in the Davis Mountains. The unit itself was clean, the A/C worked very well, and there was plenty of hot water. There were, however, a few areas that could use some attention. The photos of the back patio are outdated. The space currently has a patio table and a plastic picnic table, but the patio table hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. The umbrella was a nice touch and provided good shade, but there was an empty water...

"The house was clean and comfortable. "

"April is such a gracious host! Katherine’s Cottage exceeds all our needs when we stay in Alpine."

"An amazing experience the host makes it such a welcoming and relaxing getaway the 2 ladies that run it truly care about the experience they offer truly a wonderful experience!!!"

"It was unfortunate that the place was so dirty. It seemed like it did not have a thorough cleaning in a while. The floors were full of dust and clumps of dog hair. The beds had what appeared to be used sheets and the dinnerware was also full of dried pieces of food. There were extra sheets available but some of them also had stains. The shower curtain could definitely be replaced as well. There was stuff stuck along the sides of it, which made showers a little uncomfortable. If it weren't for...

"The little cottage we stayed in for two nights was enjoyable. This was our first experience with a VRBO overnight stay. These folks were so good, we'll do it again. Everything we needed was on-site, clean and ready to use. Kimberly and Michaela were available and they were helpful."
