"The King's Little Pathway" spans the El Chorro gorge at a height of 100m. It was built in the early 1900s as an access path between nearby hydroelectric plants. The bridge got it's name in 1921 when King Alfonso XIII crossed it to help inaugurate a new dam.

The path rises to the bridge from either side of the gorge, snaking dramatically along the sheer cliff face. In recent years the path has been closed to all but rock-climbers, as many portions of the pathway had crumbled away.

However, the Spanish government recently completed a three-year restoration of the pathway, including guardrails, and it just opened yesterday - March 28, 2015! The 6€ entrance fee will be waived for the first six months, but you'll need to make reservations in advance: http://bit.ly/1BzhH8Y. Also, bear in mind that the path is one-way, so check the return bus schedule, or book a return crossing as well!

"We loved the apartment! It is well situated with bars, restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Easy to walk to the old town / train and bus stations. The kitchen was well equipped, the shower was really good, the flat itself is spacious. The heating worked well. The only downside was the sloping roof in the main bedroom and 2nd bathroom. The roof terrace was large and would be fantastic in the warmer weather. I would definitely recommend a stay here!"

"We were very fortunate to find this amazing condo in Fuengirola /Torreblanca. From the moment we arrived the process was flawless. A representative was there to meet us, gave us a tour of the condo with all explanations required. The property itself was spotless and very well supplied with everything we needed from the kitchen to the spacious bedrooms. First time in Malaga? Consider this one!

"I had never been to Malaga before and it turns out this hotel is very conveniently placed in the heart of Malaga. Everything is within ready walking distance - beach, piers, central area, castle and fort, cathedral, etc. The train station is a little longer walk, but walkable. There is a metro that can shorten the event, but I never tried it. Rooms are made up daily with clean bedding and toiletries. The hotel is older and not remade recently, so the elements (doors, floors, furniture) are dated and used, but very sufficient. Beds were quite comfortable. I would stay at this place again if available."
