"Service was incredible. The entire staff was very helpful. Breakfast buffet was very good, but pricey if you don’t get it included in your room rate. The location is excellent, 10 minutes to the central train station with access to trams, and ferries, but the area is quite walkable. It is on the edge of the red light district but you can go there or avoid it easily. Pop for a canal view. The bar is really special, great snacks, drinks, and you can have a full dinner there. All the rooms are different, a bit quirky but very charming. Beautiful wood hallways and lots of art deco touches, worth a walk around the hotel. We stay here whenever we come to Amsterdam."

"I stayed at the Eden Hotel in June 2024. The staff was friendly, helpful, and not obtrusive. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The lobby was calm, stylish, and welcoming. This hotel is good for thoughtful tourists. Thankfully, it did not seem to cater to large gangs of drunk young people. The location was perfect for accessing the major tourist destinations, including Dam square, Rembrandtplein square, Amsterdam Centraal train station, Jordaan, museum district, De Pijp. We mostly walked to these places, but occasionally used the tram stop at Rembrandtplein square, which is conveniently close to the hotel. The tram is a good option for travel between the Eden and Amsterdam Centraal. I stayed in a double room on the third floor with a fantastic view of the Singel. The room had complementary espresso coffee (very nice) and still water (glass bottle). The bed was comfortable. By American hotel standards, the room was not large, but it was fine for staying in Amsterdam, because we spent most of our time exploring the city. Before our stay, I was a little concerned about the noise level at night, but it was fine and I slept well. My only suggestion - not a complaint - is that it would have been nice to swing open the window. The window had a horizontal hinge at the top that allows one to crack open the bottom by only a few inches. Nevertheless, that opening provided a nice breeze and pleasant sounds of canal life below. I did not have breakfast. "

"The location was great! We had a full view of the train station and canal boats. Our room wasn't ready but they stowed our bags so we could go explore the city right away. When we got to our room it was a very nice size with chairs, tables, plenty of storage space and nice size bathroom. In the morning, the breakfast buffet included made to order eggs on top of a wide assortment of breakfast items. The bar was relaxing to hang out in at night and have a drink. Servers were really very pleasant and took care of you. The weird thing was having to take 2 elevators to get to your room. The rooms were in an adjacent building to the lobby. So you took one elevator up 2 flights, walked to the adjacent building and then took the elevator to your room. In a way it kinda made me feel safer since it would be difficult for a non guest to get to the rooms. We stayed for 3 days and covered a LOT. Being so close to central station always provided many transportation options to get around Amsterdam if we didn't want to walk. "
