"Being a first time visitor from Australia I was helped out by the young man who checked me in. He helped me out with all the local restaurants and other places. Especially encouraged me to try the local horse meat. Great choice. Very friendly staff and great location and well kept hotel. Breakfast was also great value and quality. Highly recommend this place. "

The WiFi was unusably slow, you couldn't even stream music or use YouTube or any other app on the provided TV. If you plan to stay at the hotel at all, you'll need a decent mobile data package. "A comfortable enough stay for those not spending a lot of time in the hotel and don’t have special needs. Staff were friendly and helpful and rooms are a good size with a modern bathroom. Two issues that unfortunately will mean I would not book again - the wifi will not hold up for business calls and the vegetarian options are very limited compared to other hotels I have stayed in in Almaty. If neither is important to you than this is a decent hotel pick! "
