"This property is beautiful and everything we were looking for to get away for the weekend. The home is cozy and secluded and served as a perfect base camp to complete the Decalibron loop. We were greeted by a moose walking right up to our car as we arrived - A truly magical experience."

"The cabin was wonderful! We spent most of our week at the cabin relaxing and it was such a comfortable and pleasant space to be! The kitchen was probably one of the best appointed rental kitchens we have ever had and we were able to cook most of our meals at home. Even though we were there in the peak of summer, we were able to open the windows and keep the cabin very comfortable. There were so many nice little touches that made the place so homey. The location was also very nice - remote enough to feel like you are out in the middle of nowhere, but also 10 minutes to Fairplay if you want dinner. Loved our time here."

"Beautiful place and excellent views. Loved it -- but -- if privacy is a top priority, this is not the place. There is an attached unit and we saw them and heard them every day. Very nice people though, but it still gave off a vibe of no-privacy (and we really thought we were going to have privacy, so that may be on us (as we really want and need privacy to relax)). Also, bring your own shampoo and soap - most vrbo's have that, but this one did not."

"Entertainment was provided by daily visits from rabbits, robins, swallows and wolves crooning at night. Views were fantastic and neighborhood was soooo quiet. The cabin was great and the loft bed was super comfy. Sounds of running water was so enjoyable. Being from Texas, we were happy two nights that it was too cold to sit outside ! I would recommend this rental."

Beautiful Pet Friendly Alma Home: MTN Views

"This is probably the best vacation rental I have stayed in for quite some time. It is surrounded by beautiful Evergreen and Aspen trees. We loved staying in this home while doing some hiking. The home is exactly as you see it in the photos. Exceptionally clean and well kept. Kitchen was well equipped and supplied. We were able to hike 14ners in very close proximity and a couple of other wonderful hikes. We saw Moose and two five-point bucks. The host was very responsive. She even responded while sitting in the dentist chair! An unexpected bonus was the World Championship Burro Race in Fairplay the first weekend we arrived. I read the book “Running with Sherman” earlier this year so this was a funny coincidence! Amazing stay. Wish we were still there."

"The property was excellent. Very secluded, the cabin was the perfect size for our group and the hot tub was an excellent addition. We saw wildlife everyday we were there, including a moose, and got some excellent pictures. We would definitely stay again."
