"Really nice room. Bathroom was lovely (some hairs in sink when we arrived, but not that a big deal). There was a wedding on in the hotel, with music heard thumping in our room until quite late (we’re not killjoys, but it was impossible to sleep and very loud). It would have been good to know this when booking, as we would have looked elsewhere. Called down to ask reception and they were dismissive and a bit rude. Also loud music heard in room in the morning as well."

"I had the best stay here! Sinclair was an amazing host, as well as the rest of the staff st the guesthouse too. I loved the little touch of the cookies and the bottles of water in the room too. Breakfast was tasty too. I would recommend anyone to stay here, I know I’ll be coming back here when I’m next in Ayr. Thank you all at the Lochinver Guesthouse!"

"Amazing hotel"

"The suite was fantastic. The room was comfortable and well stocked. The tub/shower was a little bit of a challenge to get in and out of. But the bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet. The restaurant downstairs was outstanding. Parking in back was tight but easy to use. The contactless entry and use was easy to use. Instructions provided were easy to follow."

"only thing i got to say is for breakfast i liked the way you got a pot of tea insaid you have to make your own tea, you are eating your breakfast then you have to back up for more tea breakfast gets cold thanks"

"Friendly helpful staff, clean room slightly tired, excellent breakfast with quality sausages and bacon! Friday and Saturday nights can be quite loud outside the hotel being a city centre location."

"The room was very clean with modern amenities. The shower was easy for accessiblity purposes."

"By far the most imamculate and well-looked after apartment I've ever stayed in. Everything was thought of: there was tea & coffee, fresh towels, blankets, washing up liquid, soap, crockery, cooking utensils. There were instructions for everything, and plenty of tips/ideas, as well as local food menus & recommendations, in the info folder. The beds were extremely comfortable, and there were plenty of sockets throughout the apartment. There were board games, books, and local guidebooks. The...
