"Great spot. Lovely restaurant. Super well located. Didn’t care for the staff who was not helpful and mocked us when we inquired about certain activities. We were told we had to book the trail days/weeks in advance, yet managed to find a taxi 10min later. Unnecessary attitude for an otherwise beautiful experience."

"Perfectly situated on our trip down Route Napoléon to the Verdon gorge. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and well priced. The staff were friendly and helpful too. Castellane itself is well worth a visit. A lovely little town with some good restaurants, two weekly markets and great views from the the chapel on the hill."
