"Even though the suite was not designed as a handicapped suite, the staff was proactive and attentive to the adjustments that would help. I got a call ahead of time confirming that I would be able to use the designated suite. They added a hand-held shower extender to the shower, so that I could use it. The only thing that would have helped more was a shower chair, so that I could sit in the shower area. They received and held a couple of Amazon packages that I bought to provide a toilet seat...

"The apartment was a charming two-bedroom unit typical of the Upper West Side in New York. Its location was conveniently close to all the attractions we intended to visit, and the subway station was just three blocks away, providing easy access to Brooklyn, Princeton, and the rest of the boroughs. I would highly recommend this stay—it was peaceful and, for lack of a better term, very inviting. My teenagers, who are all over 6’2”, found it to be quite comfortable as well."

"Property was not the original address reserved, instructions for getting the key to the unit was impossible, key broke in the lock to get to the inside of the building, property manager had never been to the unit and did not know what it looked like, there was one roll of toilet tissue for five days of stay, There was no paper towels, the coffee machine did not work, and the unit quite honestly was awful. "I have stayed at many short term rentals, absolutely horrible! The master bed was broken so my 82 year old dad slept on the floor. No place to sit. We placed all of our things on the other bed and was charged an extra person. The fees were added on later and there is a notice stating it’s illegal to stay in the building. I will be contacting VRBO to recover some fees!!"
