"The room was really small. No closet. Hooks on the wall but no hangers. Very few electric outlets. No phone. No attendant. On the plus side, very clean and quiet. Owner answered promptly when I sent a text. I felt the price was too high for this bare minimum but I expect it is so because this is summer, the high season."

"We had our Christmas gathering at this beautiful home in Balsam Lake, WI. Plenty of room for 18 of us - large, comfortable bedrooms, large area for kids to play, and for us to all be together as well. Kitchen was well stocked, had everything we needed. Not the year for sledding, skiing, ice fishing or skating, but the park near by was a big hit for our grandchildren."

"Took my son in mid-May to let him experience better fishing than we have available locally in the Chicago area. We had a great stay and caught dozens of fish. The cabin is nice, clean and had everything we needed to enjoy a week long trip."

"The fishing is great the kids had a blast! I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to escape the city and have a great time!"

"Enjoyable. Nice setup for large groups. The included pontoon was a big plus. Need a little larger table on the deck for meals, and an umbrella for shade on the deck would help. Liked the large beautiful lakefront yard and view. Neighborhood dead end street with its slow traffic was pleasant for walking."

"The house is only an hour and a half from the cities, has a lot of space and the cabin really felt like a home."

The pontoon size is perfect, we paddled around in the kayaks, played on the swim dock, enjoyed a few adult beverages by the fire. great place to relax and get away from it all. The place is spacious and clean.

Megan was very attentive when we had any questions. We will definitely come back!

"We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. The well appointed cabin is very private and secluded, on a gorgeous stretch of Big Blake Lake. We rented the pontoon for all three days of our stay and the process was super slick. Gorgeous sunsets from the dock and a great screen porch for playing games in the evening. We saw loons, bald eagles, sand hill cranes, and deer. The lake wasn’t super busy which was nice. Megan was a great host and communicator. We can’t wait to return!"

"We chose this house for the location as we were attending the fall festival in Amery and visiting the casino which were both about ten minutes away. Also it had enough beds for all 6 of us to have our own. A few things that we thought could be changed was not all the windows had screens on them including the sliding glass door to the deck. The air conditioning kept the lower level cool but upstairs was warm so it would of been nice to be able to open all the windows. The couches and carpet in...
