"This is probably the best hotel in the town, great staff, a beautiful room, well designed to Western standards and a great view of the lake from the third floor. A glass wall in the bathroom afforded a view of the lake from the shower. They also provided us with an oxygen tank to the room for 180 bob which was great. What I didn't like was the shower over bath. The shower head was too close to the wall so I found myself with one leg up on the bath rim to try to get my body under the shower...

"Busy hostel in busy part of El Alto. Very convenient for the airport, and the hotel arranged a pick up and also got me a tasty food take away delivered. The bed was also really comfortable. Only downside was check in was a bit clunky until the person with a bit of English rocked up. "

Chris and his team are top notch: very accommodating, friendly, helpful & just great people!! The restaurant (Minuteman Pizza) is EXCELLENT for both dinner & breakfast! "This is a special place, really lovely people take great care to cook delicious meals, keep gardens looking beautiful, and give recommendations on what to do and see. Loved the room too. Be warned you do have to walk uphill a while to get there, was tough for us as we hadn’t acclimated to the elevation. But we’ll worth it!"

"Wonderful boutique hotel amongst the dusty and noisy streets of Uyuni. The surrounds were typical for the city unfortunately. We were only there for a night after the salt flats tour. Nice breakfast, helpful staff. Only negative is that our room was very cold and we never figured out the heating. But that was more our fault than anything. "

" Stellar customer service is the hallmark of this property. Pablo, the owner’s nephew was the hotel manager and he went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We were one of two guest rooms booked during this off season, and when I inquired about where we could find dinner, he said they could prepare some for us and what time would we like to eat? We were the only ones eating, yet he made sure he turned on the music for atmosphere. The breakfast (included with your room) was delicious....
