"Jeder der in Kaloi Limenes Urlaub macht sollte wissen das dieser Ort sehr abseits liegt. Wer Ruhe sucht und sich hauptsächlich in seinem Urlaubsort aufhält ist hier richtig. Als Selbstversorger ist der nächste ansprechende Supermarkt in Mires. Ca. 20 km entfernt. Dazwischen liegt eine Fahrt von Meereshöhe hinauf durchs Gebirge (10 km) und hinab nach Mires in der Ebene(10 km). Diesen Fakt sollte man im Auge behalten. Wir haben bei der Besichtigung von Chania und Rethymno eine Zwischenübernachtung...

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’accueil de Sofia et de toutes ses petites attentions.De belles plages à proximité, Komos, Kalamaki et Matalla.La maison est très fonctionnelle, la piscine et le jardin sont parfaits.À recommander !"

"Wir hatten sehr schöne acht Tage in Kalamaki. Das ältere Ehepaar, denen das Apartment gehört waren sehr gastfreundlich und herzlich. Kalamaki selber ist eher ein Touri-Ort, doch kommt man mit einem Mietauto überall hin."

It’s reasonably private and has a view of harbour restaurants in one direction and the beach and caves on the other. The surrounding area can get quite noisy late at night, so if this is an issue for you, it may not be the best option "

"Stefano nous a accueilli comme des princes: jus et corbeille de fruits...Logement impeccable, très bien equipé, correspondant à l'annonce. Juste attention, il est noté qu'il y a une piscine. Or, il n'y en a pas. Mais cela n'a pas manqué, la mer se trouvant à 10-15 minutes à pied du logement. Merci encore Stefano!"

The property has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay and you are a 5 minute walk to the beach and a variety of bars and restaurants. John the owner communicated very well and was a very generous host. If you are visiting this beautiful part of the world, I highly recommend a stay in this property."

However we had an issue with the cleaniness and overall maintenance. The bathroom needs urgent maintenance, since the shower head is broken and it almost comes off the wall. We stayed 4 nights.
