"GPS doesn't work here, place is confusing and dangerous to drive to. We had to leave after 3 days and the owner refused to give refund for the remaining 3 days."

"I don’t normally write review but felt compelled to after our stay here. The host was just super helpful and organised in advance which was fabulous. But nothing could have prepared us for the absolutely stunning location of this place! We could have sat on one of the many balcony areas looking at at the different views for hours. Incredibly beautiful. Setting. The apartment was really clean and very comfortable with great beds. Would recommend 10000% "

"I tried to reached to them a week before my travel to get some information about the transport options to the hotel nobody responded i was already heading towards the hotel when i received an email in italian with useless information. On the day of arrival at reception they told me most of the facilities are closed including the restaurant none of this was mentioned while i made the bookings. The lady at the reception on 23rd around 13:30 while speaking to me in between exchanged words in her language with her staff member and both laughed and passed weird expressions which is very unprofessional and insulting to do to your guests. We went into the room noticed even the basic things are not in the room for a 4 star hotel. Only 2 water bottles in the fridge no kettle no tea bags no iron, Broken cupboards, Ants in the balcony, broken hair dryer, noisy Bed We asked them for extra towels 3 times finally had to get down and ask for 4 time.The AC was blowing air not cooling the room due to this my 1 year old got unwell and had temperature. I requested to make the AC work nothing changed. We went to speak at the reception and when we mentioned our baby is unwell they laughed at us at this moment we realised its a very unsafe place to stay.extremely rude and unprofessional staff worst hotel experience of my life.I had to leave the hotel and make another booking at a different place."

"We loved our stay at Villa Margherita from beginning to end. The on-site caretaker, Natale, was as helpful and generous as the other reviews captured, without being intrusive in the slightest. We used the pool daily, walked down into town for pastries and shopping, and were even treated to a pasta-making class by Chef Nanni, who lives up the hill. And those views! You build your day around sunrise and sunset because you don't want to miss them."

"It is a beautiful, well run boutique hotel with spa services. Great breakfast with a stunning view over the ocean. They took very good care of us."

"The property and the location were perfect for our honeymoon. We wanted somewhere private, with our own pool and garden but close enough to the beach and other places to go sightseeing if we wanted. This property was exactly what we wanted and exactly what was promised. Natalino was a brilliant host who was always a WhatsApp away if we needed anything. We loved our stay and will miss Sicily and this house but hopefully we will get to stay here again one day!"

"Serena greeted us upon our arrival. Serena was very kind, and hospitable. Suggested places to grocery shop and a restaurant to dine at. Excellent Quick communication Incredible view of the ocean from top terrace from two of the bedrooms. Beach umbrella and towels provided Key to beach shower provided Detached bathrooms: one upstairs & 1 downstairs, 3 bedrooms upstairs’: 1 Queen 1 Full 2 twins AC ONLY in bedrooms, 1 floor fan in kitchen Bed mattress soft Water, coke, sweets, a few condiments provided. Clean I would stay again"

"Stunning villa. We loved the pool bar with ice machine and fridge. Pool very refreshing. All the bedrooms huge with aircon and all ensuite bathrooms huge. Nearby Ferdinando restaurant very nice food , worth pre-booking to sit outside., very nice Etna vino bianco. Sigma supermarket near A18 had nice wines. Kids liked Netflix on the TV. Note that they charge 5Euros to take lift out of the gorge so better to take steps back out. Would love to come back to this villa and village , very italian, everyone very firendly."

"Loved the views, authentic and comfortable cottage, lovely experience of Sicilian village life. May be difficult to access for those with mobility issues. Wifi would not connect. Single lane access and street parking not suitable for a large vehicle. Also make sure to access groceries before arrival as there was no grocery store in Savoca and breakfast was not supplied as stated."
