"Once checked in a good stay. Comfortable room and good location. Problem with check in was that I was expected to do it remotely, sending a copy of my passport by WhatsApp, which I declined to do. The person I had been speaking to then contacted his boss who then came round, checked me in properly and was friendly and helpful."

"Very strange place with no customer service. Not sure it belongs on hotels.com as it is more of a self serve room in a hallway of 6 rooms. No person on site to greet you, rooms very spartan without even a drinking glass. Hard bed, decent linens. But the location was perfect for making connections between the ferry and the train. "

"Given how hard it is to find anything reasonable in or near Taormina, this is highly recommended for the price. The host was quite helpful, and Castelmoro turns out to be very charming in its own right. It is a simple place, one can hardly rave about it. But I do recommend it. "

"This was once a school, then a sort of convent for teaching nuns. It was ok for a one night stay. Receotion area coukd have used a seat or two; person/receptionist was very helpful and cordial; no one at front desk/reception area after say 6pm...wondered what to do if something happened?@!$^*"

"Absolute gem. Gorgeous property in an elegant former family home. The decor was very tasteful, lots of interesting art and vases. Has a beautiful rooftop terrace and common area. The breakfast was delightful and we could sit on a balcony enjoying a wonderful view. Luca, the host, was super lovely and helpful, with great recommendations. The location is also great, only a 2 min walk from the Messina gate which is the gateway to the city center. Couldn’t have been better! Highly recommend this...
