"We had the best stay at Jako hotel! The service was top notch, special thanks to Odisi and Ida (forgive me if the spellings are wrong). Because it was low season, we got free early check-in and late check-out, which we really needed. And they were always very accommodating and friendly. There is a halal restaurant one minute away which we went thrice. The bus from Saranda to Ksamil passes by the hotel so you can ask the driver to drop off at the hotel, but the bus from Ksamil to Saranda town takes a different route which stops a bit further, so we would normally take a taxi to go to the town centre. Overall, everything was excellent and we truly had a relaxing stay. Definitely will repeat the stay if we ever come back to Saranda."

The only criticism we would make is the breakfast which was a bit limited to our taste however the staff were accommodating when requests were made. "Beautiful, spacious, modern rooms. Great shower. Stunning view from the room, pool and restaurant. Truly breathtaking. The only two drawbacks for me were: The location: far up a hill with nothing nearby. As someone without a car, I’m glad I was only staying one night because taxis in Albania are expensive. At the same time, you can’t get that view without being high up. If you have a car or ample budget for taxis (35-40 euros round trip) you might not mind as much! The restaurant: Dinner at the restaurant was not great. I had the chicken risotto and ended up eating around the chicken. Drinks were good. Wine was great. And breakfast was really great!"
