"The hotel needs some maintenance such as paint touch ups indoors and out, and the restaurant, lobby and breakfast areas need updated furniture. However, we were very comfortable and the staff was terrific. Drinks, music and dinner on the patio were a highlight on our trip."

"The property was recently refurbished. The room was wonderfully appointed with artwork and modern furnishings. New tile in the bathroom and tub surround. Breakfast was plentiful with many options such as scrambled eggs and sausage, waffles, bakery, and more. I would definitely come back and recommend this Super 8 to friends and family."

"We had a great time celebrating our mom and Nana. From communication before we got there to help needed when we were there, they were always quick to respond. We had great sleeping spacce and enjoyed eating and grilling by the lake. We spent time hiking the beach, kayaking, and even some Pickleball. It was a perfect setting to enter Door county and then return in the evening for a bonfire and listening to the waves. It was also fun to paint the rocks and put them by the fireplace. The kids could stay up late playing in the basement while us older enjoyed the quiet upstairs. Great place for pictures and memories made."

"The owner was flexible and easy to communicate with about our stay. The location was great and very roomy and clean. I don't want my next comments to detract others and hopefully the owner will not do this again, considering everything else was really good. However my concern which has me hesitant was on check out day we brought our luggage down early to go get coffee and bakery to come back to the place to eat breakfast and use the bathroom. We found it already clean and this was before our 11:00 a.m. checkout time. The owner told our family staying in the apartment, that shares the same hallway, that we left. We hadn't. We didn't text the owner, we didn't see the owner ever, yet somehow he was in our rental prior to the checkout time. Very uncomfortable feeling as if there's cameras or something. I have rented several VRBOs and never ran into this before. I would recommend this property but hope the owner recognizes how uncomfortable this makes renters feel."
