"Great location and beautiful views over the ocean. You can walk right outside and go swimming in the ocean, rent a kayak/paddleboard, or just walk along the coastline. Breakfast is absolutely delicious and full of fresh, locally sourced fruits, veggies, eggs, and meats. Also fresh squeezed juice! The restaurant is very good. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend this hotel! "
"Everything was excellent. The ocean views are wonderful and the restaurant is extremely pleasant. The only thing to be aware of is that it is located on the other side of the island from the airport, although it is an easy drive. "
"Hassle free check-in (earlier check in was available for us) by a very welcoming and attentive staff. The room was very nice, clean, bright and had comfortable beds and air conditioning. Breakfast was more than adequate. They also had parking on property, which was super convenient. Location is great: near eateries and grocery stores and yes...the hot springs. Love it and would be back again. Thank you, Hotel Vale Verde!"
"The place is amazing. Quite and nicely located close to the few bars and restaurants available in Furnas. Would definitely recommend to stay here if you're looking for a place with great hospitality "
"Highly recommend this place to people traveling to Sao Miguel. The hotel and staff were great. It was an excellent location and the staff was very helpful on what to see on the island. "
"The receptionist Tania was amazing pointing out all excellent places worth visiting. Her personality and humour was definitely the highlight of our stay at the hotel"
"Unexpected little oasis in the city. Very comfortable suite in a beautiful setting with a pool that is lit at night. Easy to check in and leave. Very close to the centre and the major attractions. Parking was very easy as well. Would definitely stay here again. "

"It doesn’t seem many people opt to stay in the Furnas area but that is a mistake! It is a great location and a great hotel. There are 8 houses. We stayed in 3. It was clean and in great condition. The hotel grounds were prestige with a great pool, gym, hot tub, and sauna. Guests also get access to this gorgeous garden that is closed from the public 11 months a year. It was stunning. We took the breakfast one day and that was also fabulous with lots of great options including gluten-free if you need that. The houses have a full kitchen but only used it for cutting fruit and preparing picnics. "
