"This is a lovely hotel, and our room was beautiful. We loved Grazalema. Our only critique is that we opted to include dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately, our dinner was limited to 2 choices of entree, neither of which was appealing to us. Also, the breakfast was not as good as other places we stayed in Spain & Portugal. If I were to stay here again, I would not include the dinner. "

"This hotel is in a stunning location 10 minutes outside Grazelema. We rented a car to tour and hike in the area, and the hotel is well located. The pool is lovely and views from the hotel are spectacular. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a room opening onto the garden - it was simple but absolutely adequate. A large buffet breakfast is included in the room price. A la carte dining is available throughout the day and evening, and there is a buffet option for dinner as well. We found this to be a plus as it gave us the option to dine in after a day of hiking. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week in El Gastor. The house was as pictured, though unfortunately it was unseasonably cold so we could not use the pool. Instead, we got to enjoy a fire most nights! The view across the valley is gorgeous, and the mountain peak just behind the house is also beautiful. We visited Olvera, Grazalema, Zahara, Setinil de las Bodegas, and Ronda; all nearby and easily accessible by car. We rented bikes in Olvera and cycled the Via Verde, and we hiked to the dolmen just up from the town. The Gastrobar in El Gastor has great food and views. Thank you Luis!"

"We had a wonderful stay at La Casa de Bovedas! They are lovely people and the place sits in a perfect spot in Arcos. We will return to Arcos and we will stay here again!"

"Very quaint hotel - all the main sites in Arcos are easily walkable within a few minutes from the hotel. Some of the finishes are a bit dated - I think it's perhaps more of a 2-star hotel and even the plaque on the outside of the hotel only has 1 star but, as I understand it, the Spanish hotel rating system is undergoing updates. The room we got definitely had a different feel than the ones pictured online (again, more dated) but nevertheless it was comfortable and did the job for our one-night stay. The shared spaces are lovely, including the rooftop patio. The staff were friendly and helpful. Note that there is no parking but the front desk staff kindly advised us that on streets where the curb and lines are painted blue, street parking within these marked areas is free. On a complete fluke (we were lost trying to find paid parking, lol), we were able to find blue-marked areas on Av. Miguel Mancheño, an approx. 5-minute walk from the hotel. "
