"We were five mature women looking for the full tuscan experience and we found it. The villa is as beautiful as described. Spacious rooms, big kitchen and the pool area was lovely. The outdoor breakfast area was especially popular for morning coffees. If you go, though, you must have a car as public transportation is not easily accessible. The kitchen is well equipped but was missing some basic food supplies, such as salt and pepper, spices or paper towels. I would also have expected there to be sufficient toilet paper and hand soap for the bathrooms but we had to buy that as well. Not a huge deal, more of an inconvenience really. Overall though, one of the nicest places we've stayed at. Would definitely recommend."

"Staying at Borghetto Calcinaia was a literal dream. We were a party of 12 (10 adults, 2 small children) celebrating my 50th birthday. From the initial booking, Dale was so helpful and super quick to respond with an incredible amount of information. Ben was also very helpful and responsive at the property. The property itself was more than anticipated and was simply perfect. There was everything there we could ever have possibly needed. We were also very fortunate to have Dale's recommended private chef Monica come and prepare some of the most tastiest local food for a special meal for us one night. Along with pairing local wines to accompany her food. 7 days was just not long enough. We made a lot of amazing memories as a family that will never be forgotten.Thank you for one of the best holidays in the most beautiful parts of Italy we have ever been to."
