Feel like you are in the country while being close to all the downtown amenities and activities that Alexandria has to offer. Right across the street from the lake and within walking distance of a pontoon/fishing boat/bicycle rentals. Enjoy the scenery from the front patio or eat out on the deck in the privacy of the backyard under the automatic awning. Enjoy s’mores over a bonfire and play yard games! This is the perfect home for the whole family to enjoy, with spacious living areas and enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to have their own space.

Girls Weekend
Our stay at Darling Lakeview was perfect ! The house was exceptionally clean and our host provided everything we needed . We had a weekend of delicious food , wine and even dessert. We all loved the abundance of natural light that all the windows allowed and the cozy fireplace in the evening. Thanks again for a fantastic stay !! :)

Family get together
We booked this property to get cousins and our kids together and hang out in the Alexandria area. There were four adults with 2 children around the age of 2. It was the perfect size for the 6 of us! There was supposed to be another family of 4 joining but they were not able to make it. The house still would have accommodated all 10 of us! The host was very kind and responsive in a timely manner when communicating and also allowed us to check in early, around 2 pm. The house is beautiful and very clean! The kids felt right at home which was great!

Perfect for family get away
This is the best vacation rental I’ve ever encountered. The pictures and descriptions are very accurate. The house is clean, well put together, and smells nice. Having multiple living rooms was perfect for a family staycation. It meant that we could operate with two different vibes at any time. The beds were incredibly comfortable, seating was supportive for people in larger bodies. The location is beautiful as well. We were lucky enough to be there on a foggy, frozen morning and really enjoying looking out at the lakes. This was a great stay and we definitely plan to return!

Fabulous place!
Everything was great! The only thing was on the listing it said whirlpool spa so we all brought suits excited for a hot tub which was not there. Loved that there were games and puzzles provided for a fun friends night in!

Relaxing
Great location and very relaxing! The house is furnished with everything to make your stay comfortable. Unfortunately the fridge/freezer wasn’t working but they were working on fixing it or getting it replaced. Very clean and sleeping accommodations very comfortable. Beautiful house in a beautiful area with so much to do and see. We will definitely stay again! Host was very informative and responsive! Thanks again!
