Staff is extremely friendly and helpful . Vijay at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure our family had the correct rooms next to each other. Property itself is a little old but well maintained and clean.
beautiful place on the lake

The beach area was very nice, but I would suggest getting bathrooms down in that area. Very helpful staff. Nice pool areas… and the water park will be nice when completed.

It’s a beautiful lake!!! The rooms were nice, clean with a great deck! The property needs some TLC.
Fun time with extended family. Rented a pontoon and took advantage of the free water and land sports (kayaks, paddleboards, beach volleyball). Fun S'mores in the evening. Poolside food excellent.
Property, location, and grounds were beautiful. Drinks and food were not good. Management would be wise to reacces their hospitality, dining and entertainment.

The room was adequate for our stay. It was clean and large. The chairs on the balcony were flimsy and dirty, so we didn’t sit outside. We went to the deck bar where there were only 2 chairs, and we went didn’t want to take up a table since we weren’t ordering food. The bar was covered with flies, and the staff was killing them with towels near the glasses and the food. All of the plants around the deck area were dead and dry. The aesthetic was horrible.
The resort is a nice one. Excellent staff. Room was very comfortable but you could smell that smoking took place. Great for family. But the water splash was unfortunately closed for remodeling
Very, very dated. Musty smelling. Black mold in shower. No heat and very stuffy. Tried running AC briefly to remove dampness from air, but it only had one setting, which was freezing. No mention when booking that indoor waterpark was shut down. There was an outdoor pool, but unheated (60 degrees outside). The positive…the view looking out to the lake was beautiful!
The room was great, and the outdoor pool. Everything else wasn’t great. Food was terrible, service needs more training, hot tub wasn’t working. Everything seemed run down.
We enjoyed this resort overall. A little disappointed in the shape of some of the amenities. Very old volleyballs, basketballs on the court were nearly flat. The restaurant/bar on site was not always open at the times listed it was supposed to be. Rooms are pretty outdated. Food and drinks were good. We enjoyed the pools and the water activities available!
So much to do walking by Lake Darling basketball courts , pool table and board games 😁 And great restaurant 👌. Unfortunately the water park was closed for renovations but had the indoor pool which was great for the kids 😁. First time we stayed there and it was great best bang for the buck 👍

The room was good and in a nice location in hotel had a beautiful view of lake wanted to just stay at hotel and eat and have cocktails and be on our patio and enjoy. But unfortunately that did not happen. Frist night no restaurant was closed ask front desk said we could go to bar and order food when in bar was told we could only order pizza so we did had 4 choices to pick from but was not very good the pizza did not have sauce on it just cheese and meat. So next morning wanted to eat breakfast restaurant was closed we keep asking front desk about availability of restaurant and was told open for breakfast and dinner. Even when we made the reservation we asked if there would be food and drink available was assured the restaurant and bar was available. So we had to go to town and get food and bring enough back with us until we left. Unfortunately we were not happy with our visit we were told by the staff it was elk season in Minnesota that was reason for lack of attention to customers.

The resort has a lot of great potential. Unfortunately it is poorly maintained. During our stay we were unable to use the beach, the outdoor pool and the hot tub. We did not receive housekeeping service despite multiple calls to the desk. If properly staffed and maintained, this could be a really nice place. The location is wonderful.
The water park was closed for renovation. The hot tub was not closed with a sign but had brackish water in it and staff told us not to use it. There were open wires on the down arrow at the top of the elevator door. Everything felt run down and grungy. After over an hour with customer service, the property gave us $25 back and expedia gave us $25 for a future stay. I won't be staying here again. The view was nice though.

Overall, our stay was just fine. We didn't need any additional help from staff. We stayed at Arrowood so we could dock our boat overnight and we did just that. Having the boat access on site was very useful.
You could tell the property wasn't being maintained to its full potential though. Nothing that interrupted our stay by any means, just lots of weeds, low landscaping, and furniture throughout the hotel in very odd places. The furniture has not been updated in a long time.
The vibe was off as well, the restaurants had very low attendance which for a weekend in July seemed weird. Something was just off.
