"Beautiful hotel, clean, and very comfortable and centrally located. Restaurant, lounging areas overlooks the harbor, and the beautiful city. The breakfast buffet is impressive, beautifully presented, fresh, and prepared in a kitchen in front of you which is a Thon signature. The always free and and available Nespresso coffee, with pastries and fruit (when available) is another Thon signature. We'll done a Thon. Will look to stay with this hotel brand."

"While the room was clean, the bed was rather hard, so we did not always sleep well. We had an irregularly-shaped room, so my husband could not get out of bed at night without shimmying down the bed and waking me up. Otherwise, it was a beautiful property with a huge fireplace in the lobby. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. The high-end restaurant attached to it was incredible. We had one of the best meals of our entire 3.5 week vacation there. The less formal dining room was not as good for dinner. The klippfiske dish had an odd combination of olives and andouille sausage in it. Location was superb—very close to the Jugendstil Museum, the Fishing Museum, and an antique store."

"The hotel was beautiful and in a great location. Everything was very clean and the breakfast was very good, especially the fresh squeezed orange juice. The bathroom in the room, while beautiful, was not functional. The half door of the shower allowed water to get all over the floor. The sink was so small and the mirror stuck out so far over the sink that I could barely wash my hands let alone my face without getting water everywhere. Other than the bathroom, we enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfy and everything was well cared for."

"Great location, right next to the fjord. Very helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Electric charging is slightly expensive but that may be the usual rate."

"Good value for money - lots of space and views from balconies. Nice kitchen and bathroom. A few things were broken and the parking was confusing, but overall it was good for what we paid."
