"I should say at the outset that we loved the location which was off the beaten tourist track around 1 hour north of Lisbon. The local beaches around Foz do Arelho are very accessible with a good selection of beachside cafes for lunch or dinner offering great local seafood dishes. Added to that is the proximity to a local indoor go-karting track kept the kids happy - the staff there were fantastic.
