"Das großzügige Haus, ist sehr neuwertig und schön. Kleine Probleme wurden fast alle sofort gelöst. Da das Haus etwas abgeschieden vom Meer liegt, dachten wir, es wäre ruhiger. Alle 3 Schlafzimmer liegen leider an einer Durchgangsstraße, die auch Nachts stark und schnell befahren wird. Fenster öffnen ist unmöglich. Die super leise Klimaanlage hat das Problem gelöst. Tempolimit würde allen guttun."

"A beautiful villa which was very clean and had everything you would need. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had every utensil we needed. The closeness of Pingo Doce supermarket which was 10 minutes away meant we were never without fresh fish, meat , salad and wine. It was great to have the swimming pool to come back to after a day at the local beach in Foz Do Arelho, our favourite and surrounded by wonderful restaurants. We would definitely go back again and enjoy the surroundings even...

"Booked this villa for a big family holiday to celebrate a 40th birthday. Paulo made the booking process so easy with same day replies to all our questions leading up to the holiday, handy tips and being so accommodating to our requests even during our stay. The villa had something for everyone. With the heated pool, jacuzzi, games room and lovely local beaches - we had the best time! About 30/40 mins from Lisbon - super easy to book Ubers. We're so glad we treated ourselves to the private...

"The villa was located in an upscale neighborhood close to several restaurants and stores. The only disappointing aspect was that only two of the five bedrooms had air conditioners and it was very warm during our July stay—room fans would have been helpful. The host Alice was nice and friendly. We were a group of 11 and the pool and ping pong table was enjoyable for the children."

"We loved the house , modern, tastefully decorated. Fab garden and nice and quiet as is the resort. Local beach is 10 mins away by car and stunning. More like a surfing beach as waves are huge. Definitely recommend the house. The resort has a great golf course, some tennis and oaddle courts and a club house. A great week for my family"

"The manager, Vera, is superb. She was able to set up boat rides, Fado evening, restaurants, and a fabulous wine tasting, and was always helpful and wonderful. The pool is super, the house could use window screens and fans in every room, and the owner should make sure all closets are empty. The wine from the estate is fantastic."

I would say a car is essential as everything is at least a 10 minute drive away with the bigger supermarkets being about 15 minutes away. You can walk to the beach and to Foz but this takes about an hour. The Villa is beautiful, in a quiet street of 4 houses. "Really nice home but there is only a portable A/C unit. There is no outside vent on the portable unit so it was useless. The house holds heat with little cross ventilation if bedroom doors are closed. We had to open the sliding doors. No screens so I got a lot of mosquito bites. We loved the location and very private."

The villa was supplied with everything we needed and Adelino was quick to answer any questions we had while there. We had 5 adult family members which enjoyed the week swimming and having fun playing in the games room. There were three floors plus a basement with games room. "Stayed at the villa for just under 3 weeks. Communication with Robert was excellent and he promptly answered our questions when required. The accommodation is excellent! The best that we have stayed in. The villa is large, spacious and really well equipped. Mornings and evenings spent on the balconies were a particular favourite. Supermarkets are nearby should you wish to stock up and eat in. Foz do Alehro is wonderful. Quiet, undeveloped and still not sufficiently on the tourist map to ever...
