"The hotel met our needs for our short visit to Richmond and at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room with a king bed and small sofa was comfortable for us. Main room and bathroom were quite clean. One design issue: the bed was too close to the outside wall and it was a challenge to get by the AC unit. "I had booked our room through Expedia about 2 months before travel. I booked a queen suite with sofa bed and when we got to the property they said they only had a king suite with sofa bed. The receptionist said it was Expedia's fault because they don't check what rooms the hotel has available. Not sure if that is true or not. Made for a very tight stay for our family of 6 for 5 nights. There was a bunch of hair on the pool deck for 2 days before being cleaned up. Breakfast staff was grouchy and...
