"This is a really wonderful hotel. From the moment we stepped through the front door, there was such a lovely warm welcoming friendly feel to the place. The staff were all wonderful, too many to mention by name, but every one of them being extremely professional, helpful and friendly. Emma, on reception, really made this place as she was friendly, bubbly, always happy and smiling and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in room 11, which was a feature room overlooking the garden and this was an extremely spacious room, beautifully decorated. We will definitely be returning to Stratton house Hotel & Spa. "

"Hotel du Vin is a ten minute easy walk from Shakespeare birthplace and within an easy walk to Holy Trinity Church where he was baptized and buried. Their breakfast menu includes the best bitter orange marmalade so have ever tasted! The hotel has a lift to the upper floors. which made it easy for me as I use a cane."
