On arrival, step into this contemporary coastal cottage, where you'll be welcomed by a relaxing ambience harmonised with pops of vibrant colour throughout. We're sure these characterful touches will whisk you straight into holiday mode! Start your holiday in the heart of the home, the living room, where a roaring wood burner and snuggly seating provide a serene evening for all. The cottage continues to brim with charm as you head into the light-flooded kitchen/diner, where you can tuck into homemade dishes made from the produce you bought earlier in the day. Alternatively, fire up the BBQ and enjoy an alfresco dining experience in the private courtyard. This pretty accommodation has two thoughtfully decorated bedrooms: a super-king-size room with a cute desk nook and a peaceful king-size. Both sleep sanctuaries are provided for by a tasteful bathroom with a luxurious roll-top bath and rainfall shower – great for washing off sandy toes.

When you're not relaxing in this superb cottage, make the 200-metre stroll down to Aldeburgh's pebble beach, where your family will surely enjoy relaxing in the beach chairs kindly supplied by the property owners. To the north, hire a rowboat on the Meare at the holiday village of Thorpeness (2.5 miles), or follow the waymarked 6.5-mile route where you'll be met with a tummy-filling pub lunch and a pint of Suffolk's finest. For a classic day at the seaside, venture up to Southwold to meander along its famous pier, spot its iconic lighthouse, and sample its award-winning fish and chips.
