Scenic cabin in Carson National Forest

"My wife and I and two teens stayed at this spacious and clean cabin. There are two bedroom areas in the upper loft mezzanine with an upper outside deck. There are bunk beds in the basement. the main bedroom is on the ground floor off the living room. All very nice.From the large living room windows, the pine trees provided privacy and views of the distant mountains in Carson National Park.We really like the location because it allowed us to travel to the Rio Grande Riverto fish and raft, to Angel Fire, to go along highway 518 (high road) for stream fishing and then to the town center of Taos.The owners have very good taste in furniture and in artwork. Some really great pieces. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen must have been newly remodeled, with great cabinet space and countertops. The appliances were all stainless steel and new as well. We did use the washer and dryer once. All good.Outside is a L-shaped deck had plenty of seating, a dining table and a propane gas grill. We cooked our first night there grilling steaks. Excellent. Highly recommend staying here.Thanks for sharing your property."

"Great property, great location! Added bonus there’s an EV charger in El Rito. Painless check in, house well stocked and a fantastic host. Everything was too easy and we just got to relax. A small complaint - it’s too popular! We’re going to need to stay on top of its availability!"

"We had a wonderful stay! The home was very clean, check-in was easy, and everything was exactly as described. The beds were very comfortable, and the host was helpful in recommending local attractions. My family had a great time, especially enjoying the pool. The surrounding area was beautiful, and the views were fantastic. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to other families visiting the area."
