  • What a find! Location Location Location!

    Casa Pearla is a comfy, cozy cocoon located just one street off Route 66 between the popular historic Old Town and the old Albuquerque Country Club area. You can hear the bells from the San Felipe de Neri Church (estab. in 1706) and restaurants, shops and museums are within walking distance. Less than a mile away is the Aquarium/BioPark, Tingley Beach and the popular running/biking trails that run along the Bosque. You can rent bikes in Old Town! Court houses, downtown, UNM and area hospitals are a quick 5 minute drive away.

    Guests say Casa Pearla feels like a home away from home and is the perfect place to relax and regroup both indoors and outside after a day of discoveries! Downstairs is inviting and comfortable with fun art, a smart TV, free WIFI, books and informative brochures, a dining space for four, a well stocked kitchen, powder room and a full size washer and dryer. There's complimentary coffee and bottled water with recommendations of local eateries and grocery stores located on the refrigerator.

    Outside is a welcoming covered back patio with a table, chair and lights, an apple tree (!), verdant side yard with roses bushes and a walled, gated front court yard.

    Upstairs are the bedrooms (1 queen/1 full) and full bath. The beds have luxury linens and memory foam mattresses that guests rave about! A great bonus is a sweet terrace off the second bedroom complete with a traditional rista (hanging red chiles) with little solar twinkle lights. The shared bathroom has a vanity with two sinks, a bathtub/shower combo and a large skylight that bathes the space in a buttery warm natural light. Soaps, shampoos and fluffy towels, hair dryer are provided.

This cozy, clean and conveniently located apartment with comfortable beds and living room furniture was a joy to stay in. Alyce has a great sense of style and we appreciated her eye for interior design and display. Her thoughtful gift of coffee and the local Bizco-bites cookies was a very much appreciated touch. When you visit, you must walk across the street to Abuelitas Bakery for some delicious pastries(the Apple and Green Chili Pastries were suburb!)

Property was beautiful. House was wonderfully decorated. There were fresh flowers on arrival and the host was gracious enough to leave coffee and water. Being able to park in the garage is a definite plus. Location is next to downtown and old town walking areas as well as the sawmill area which is great for casual dining. I would definitely stay again. Host was wonderful.

Alyce’s place was terrific! The location was walkable to so many attractions and the home was so thoughtfully done and cozy. Even though it is close to some main streets it was also extremely quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

So many things that we appreciate about this home and our visit to ABQ - a thoughtful host, beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable beds and sitting areas, spacious both indoor and outdoor spaces, well equipped kitchen & bathrooms, in home laundry, a two car garage, prime location near Old Town, markets, main roads, and so much more. The icing on the cake is really the host who communicated thoughtfully both through text and a sweet card that welcomed our stay. Thank you, Alyce!

I have been raving about this spot to my friends and colleagues since my stay last weekend, and find myself wanting to plan a much sooner return to Albuquerque than originally anticipated, in large part because of this booking.The house is well kept, the temperature control is phenomenal, the appliances are all either new or in excellent condition, and all the little amenities are very thoughtfully arranged. Despite packing plenty of snacks, I must confess that my partner and I couldn't help but clean out most of the coffee, snack bars, seltzers, and treats that made our arrival so much more pleasant.Alyce was phenomenally communicative, checking in to make sure we were all set, and left brilliant arrival instructions. I am delighted to recommend Casa Pearla to anyone inquiring.

Casa Pearla was PERFECT for our ABQ vacation. Its proximity to the central plaza in Old Town meant that great food, shops, and culture were just a walk away. The home itself was lovely. The host provided thoughtful touches to make us feel welcome. The kitchen was well appointed and the beds were comfortable. All around a great experience. Will stay here again!

We truly loved our 3 week stay at Casa Perla. The condo is beautifully decorated with all the amenities necessary for a long stay. Perfect location for getting around all of Albuquerque and only a day trip to Taos and Santa Fe. We loved Old Town, especially Church St Cafe. Try the Prickly Pear Margarita! Thank you Alyce for being such a thoughtful host. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine, snacks and fresh flowers. Extra bonus an attached garage! We highly recommend

Hits the sweet spot along the price value axes. Well decorated, well appointed kitchen. Some really nice touches like excellent coffee, cookies provided, nice art and some good books……very welcoming. Great to be within walking distance of old town. I’ve been to ABQ five times, and this is the best place I’ve stayed. Would definitely book here again. Reasonable price, great value.

Place was well-appointed and tastefully decorated, convenient to all we wanted to see in Albuquerque (short walk to Old Town, short drive to zoo and botanical garden), and the bed was firm like my wife and I like!

House was adorable-especially loved the very tasteful decorating style with warm colors, textiles, art and some whimsical touches. The welcome basket provided had everything we needed to launch our stay; coffee, snacks, etc. well supplied for everything including a wonderful fire pit all set up outside. Host checked in throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed! Amazing!
