As you arrive, you'll find private parking for up to 10 cars. A smart lock on the front door (password provided before arrival) grants you access to the house.
Upon entering, you'll find the first level featuring a fully stocked kitchen, a living room with a 55-inch smart TV (streaming services provided), a cozy fireplace, first bedroom, a washer/dryer room, a full bathroom, and a spacious dining area with a pool and pong table. Game boards are available in the living room coffee table.
The second floor includes a reading room with a futon (sleeps one), a master bedroom with two queen beds, a bunk bed (full/twin), an electric fireplace, and a 45-inch smart TV (with streaming services). The upstairs bathroom boasts a spacious all-glass shower and a large bathtub. The third bedroom also includes a pack and play.
Outside, enjoy a large patio with furniture, a propane fireplace, a grill, a dining table, a hot tub, and a spacious yard with horseshoes and baggo/cornhole.
*The age requirement to rent our home is 21 years old.
Each booking at our home includes 8 wristbands (children under 5 do not need wristbands), providing access to the community's seasonal amenities such as the pool, lake, beach, tennis courts, and more. You'll also receive a pass for your vehicle(s). If your party exceeds 8 people and you want lake access, we highly recommend Sand Spring Lake, a beautiful public lake open to all.
Towamensing's Lake offers 1- and 2-person kayaks for rent at $20 per hour (cash), with an additional $10 for each extra half hour. Renters must be at least 18 years old and provide an ID along with a wristband.
Rest assured, our community is private and family-friendly, with 24/7 security patrols for your peace of mind. To maintain a serene atmosphere, quiet hours are observed from 9 PM to 9 AM, and the speed limit is strictly enforced throughout the community. Guests are required to read and sign the Towamensing Trails Rules of Conduct before gaining access. Any fines incurred for violating community rules will be the responsibility of the renter.
Please note that we provide a starter pack of household essentials, including paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dish detergent, and cleaning agents for the dishwasher and washer. If you are staying for more than a weekend or traveling with a large group, we highly recommend bringing additional supplies. Once the complimentary essentials are used up, guests are responsible for providing their own.
The house is fully equipped with cookware, including pots, pans, plates, utensils, and baking dishes. However, guests are responsible for bringing their own personal grocery items, such as seasonings, flour, and sugar.
Cancelation Policy:
Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.
