"What a gem! We loved our stay at Mendo Bungalow. It’s charming, quiet, super clean & comfortable. The managers go the extra mile to make guests comfortable. Chairs on the lawn with a fantastic view, s’mores kits, water bottles in the room. Every thoughtful detail—so nice to settle in for the night in a place like this. Also very close to Mendocino—4 minute drive to restaurants, stores, coastal walks, etc. "

"This is a truly special property. It was so beautifully finished that I assumed it was a second home. When I read their photo book about the process of remodeling it as a vacation rental, however, I was both impressed and inspired. This is simply a perfect property in a beautiful location. Could not have asked for more or better. My only suggestion for future visitors is to make sure you screen shot check-in directions because cell service and even data service are spotty at best in this area...

"A beautiful mix of luxury (indoor hot tub, huge bathroom, very comfortable bed, everything well-kept) and the outdoors (surrounding trees, no noise, deer in the yard). The friendly host gave a quick tour and food recs at check-in. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Mendocino!"

"We really enjoyed our first visit to Shalimere! The home is very relaxing with gorgeous views of the ocean. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the deck and the hot tub is situated in a wonderful location where you can take in the amazing views. Took a nice walk on Irish beach and it was very clean and such a quiet and beautiful scenic private beach. The home is very dog friendly and our senior dog was comfy and happy. There aren’t many restaurant options in Point Arena and they close early but...

"This home is a great vacation spot. The home feels like a cabin, but is very large to give everyone space. We sat on the deck and enjoyed the beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding green. We also enjoyed using the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked and the home is perfect for groups of 6 to 8 people. Be aware that there is no laundry access so pack accordingly. This was a spectacular home in one of my favorite places on earth and made for a wonderful week at the coast."

"This was our yearly mother daughter trip for me & my bestie. This tiny home is located by the Fort Bragg harbor. It was clean, spacious and an overall great little rental. My Mom is in a wheelchair so the downstairs room & bathroom were perfect for her. They have a wheelchair lift out front, which was much appreciated. The rest of us stayed upstairs in the loft bedroom. Loved the quick access to the harbor & restaurants. Will definitely recommend this place to others."

"Many pros to our stay…Large picture windows in living and dining rms with lovely ocean view. The well stocked kitchen was appreciated. Enough chairs for everyone around the dining room table. Large shower in front bathroom very nice. Loved the hot tub on the back deck. Cons…fireplace is the main sort of heat but just a very few sticks of kindling to start fire. First morning my husband had to chop more kindling in overgrown backyard. Hauled Lg pieces of wood from this area. A short time later he...

"My husband and I stayed here for our wedding and it was perfect! There was so much room and natural light (everything I could want in a home!). The view of the ranch across the street and the ocean were a nice treat. The location was great, close to Fort Bragg and Mendocino. The only issue we had was the cleaning person was there, mopping the floors, 15 min after check in. I was incredibly anxious to check in so I could hang up my dress, so it was a little weird to have the person still there...
