"No Air, no cups or way to make a cup of tea, bed looked so suspect I slept on top. I would not recommend this place to anyone"

"The first things you need to know is that there is an incredibly high fee for checking in even a half hour earlier than 3:00 p.m., which is what THEY say even though it says 11:00AM on Hotels.com. how in the world do they expect to charge you nearly half of your night's stay for checking in a half hour early? Do not leave the counter until you have a parking permit in your hand because later on they'll claim you didn't ask and then tell you there are none left and you can just go down the street and park in the $30 a night parking space. The rooms are quite clean but the TVs don't work at all. The shower is strange in that there is a curtain that only goes down to your knee. There's no way to stop the water from going into the rest of the room. There is no elevator and the ice maker is in another wing of the hotel and the microwaves are all on the first floor. But at least they have them right? The location can't be beat. You are surrounded by restaurants and nightclubs and bars and you are a 5-minute walk from the most beautiful beaches. And the price is exquisite so take it for what it's worth."

"The property was in a great location for my needs. Parking valet staff was fast and friendly. Breakfast staff was excellent. The only issue with the property was the elevators. One of the 2 elevators was out of service for my entire stay."

"We always enjoy staying at the Mari Jean. Rooms are clean, but nothing fancy. The shower is a decent size, but overall the bathroom is small, especially the sink. Water was hot, but you do need to turn it on for a minute or two before the hot water starts. The pool/outside bar (The Wet Spot) and inside bar and club (Cocktails) are very nice and fun. The made to order food is good and the free continental breakfast covers the basics. The outside and inside music is always good and the drag shows are great. The staff is always friendly and helpful."
