"If you are eloping in NZ and taking off in a helicopter, I highly recommend booking the Edgewater, and if you can get it, premium suite #101. It was a mere 20m from our patio to the waiting helicopter, no having to drive anywhere etc. That aside, the staff were so friendly with lots of nice personal touches noting our celebration. The refurbished rooms are tastefully decorated and spacious. Being right on the lake is beautiful and plenty of available parking. Getting into town is walkable otherwise a comfortable 5 min drive. "

"Actually very surprised how much space this had. It is only a short drive to Wanaka with alot of dining options. We loved our stay, the only negative would be you can't have a sleep in as the sun beams right in when it comes up as you the clear section up the top has no curtains to block out. "

"This motel was the pick of our three locations whilst we visited the area over a 10 day period. The rooms were very well maintained clean neat had all the facilities needed especially for a small family and was within walking distance to the local Main Street of Wānaka. We would definitely stay here again if we visit this beautiful place which was probably the highlight of our trip."
