"The room was sunny and clean, all white, with a nice kitchenette on one wall. Location is great for walking to restaurants, canal, shopping, etc. One issue is proximity to church which rang bells every 15 min all day (about 8AM to 10PM). Biggest problem was communication with host. Email instruction was to announce arrival and I would be met at door. I contacted by what's app from station and again at door. Messages read but no response after 1/2 hr. Called and told I should have known to use...

"Brilliant facilities in the apartment complex. The underground garage parking was an absolute Godsend as there is not a space to be found in the area due to the popularity of the resort. The apartment is the owners home and was equipped with everything you need. The owner met us and was very generous with offerring us to use any food in the cupboards. "Residential accommodation on two floors with two bedrooms and two bathrooms (No tub, though). In a small village making a vehicle essential. But saying that, it was ideally situated as a hub for our sightseeing in the Northern reaches. Our hosts, Fatima and Abel were congenial, supplying us with their local knowledge. We spoke no Portuguese, so we were able to converse in French. We spent 35 nights here, and would return in heartbeat."
