"Hôtel Terminus is a beautiful little old hotel on a hill. Our room was quiant and comfortable, the water was hot, and bedding clean. The bathroom was a little run down, it definitely needed some plaster patching and paint. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating in spite of the fact I can barely stumble through French. We had breakfast here as well, for €10 the Compleat was a great deal and absolutely delicious. I would stay here again."

" Stayed 7 nights April 2024. Very quiet location. Close to station. Reception friendly and efficient. Hotel furnishings and floor coverings look worn and tired. My double-bedded room on small side but adequate. Bed comfortable. Good wardrobe with adequate number of hangers. Bathroom compact but adequate with very good shower. Buffet breakfast - Continental, no hot food - very good and with local produce. Good value. Could not get internet via WiFi. Overall: a good stay and would happily return. "

"The house is very distinctive. It is just off the main (but quiet) road, so easy to find. The owner's house is across from it. The view is excellent, you are not overlooked at the back of the house and you have access to the farmland. There are a number of very nice walks - the late summer skies over the ripening orchards were just beautiful. The house is well featured, with everything reasonably provided for (including a kettle and coffee machine & percolator). Aircon is provided in the living area and top floor bedroom. We brought our Firestick to watch online (being easier to do so than use the TV). The middle floor sleeps up to 4 people (double and 2 single beds), while the top floor is double. Like a lot of period french houses, the upper stairs is steep - but is well built, with a good handrail. The pool is above ground, accessed by an up-and-over ladder. While this is fine for most people, it is a bit wobbly - so it will feel unstable for those less sure on their feet. It's also felt quite cool, but was at around 25 degrees C according to the thermometer. The host, Solange, could not have been friendlier. She made a real effort to make us feel welcome and settled. Warm and personable, without being instrusive."

"We had a terrific stay at Patrice and Armelle's Gite. The hosts have large hearts and gave us a whole basket full of excellent local nuts. We were welcomed very warmly and kindly although we arrived late and Armelle helped us with all that we needed, including the rental and application of bedsheets. Patrice took much of his time for us during our stay. During one of the days, he super kindly showed us the proximity, their horses, and the plants around. The kids got attached to our hosts and their animals, including their dogs Luna and Chimpa. They have great patience and large emotional containers. We got excellent recommendations for the surroundings even though the weather was hot and tough. The place is very clean, extremely well entertained and although the kitchen is small, we made very nice meals. There are excellent Tefal pans and there is everything that is needed. There is much to learn from these happy, calm, kind, and modest people. The kids were very sad to leave and mentioned they were missing this home, hosts, and animals. We had a great experience and would love to come back again one day."
