"Beautiful establishment. Gorgeous architecture and surrounding landscape and grounds were immaculate. We truly enjoyed the location however, the hot tub and sauna were barely warm, with no way to adjust the temperature so it was more like a cool bath tub, and warm room rather than a traditional hot tub and sauna. Additionally one of the bar staff was rude. When asked a question about the restaurant reservations he made a condescending comment. Just unnecessary. Dinner at their traditional restaurant was good, and breakfast in the mornings were fantastic."

"It’s in a great location to visit nearby sites of interest in Évora. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a lot of choices, and loved the coffee options. Parking is limited, pay €12 for a day, IF available….we’re enjoying an adventure in navigating a new place. ENJOY!"

"Knowing only a few words of Spanish was of no hindrance to our stay at this perfectly located hotel in Badajoz. For instance, the reception staff helped us order taxis and transitioned seamlessly between Spanish and fluent English, for which we were most grateful. Having said that, all the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful, initiating polite salutations in both languages as they recognised our Spanish language limitations. The restaurant staff quickly learned our choices of drinks, both hot and cold. Often they would offer us our coffee just as we liked it. A very nice touch, thank you! As mentioned by previous reviewers, the hotel location is perfect for arrival and departure by bus through the convenient proximity of the bus station 2 minutes walk away. We had many day trips to neighbouring towns, even one to Seville, by clean, efficient and inexpensive buses. The historical walled city is a leisurely 10 minute stroll away from the hotel, with many cafes en route. On days when we got weary after a long walk, a short, inexpensive taxi ride returned as efficiently to our comfortable hotel and room for relaxation. I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a base in the city/region for exploring the history and culture in this beautiful part of Spain. We stayed for 8 nights in May before moving onto Portugal."
