"We had a wonderful stay at the Sirius Palace. The location is close to the Valley of the Kings, with the added bonus of a magnificent view of the hot air balloons in the morning. The rooms are very spacious and well-equipped. The staff is very welcoming and helpful."

"This heritage hotel transports you back to that heyday of glamorous travel and the staff excel all expectations of hospitality. There's no other property with these views, the location is excellent - opposed the Nile with views across to the Valley of the Kings and right next to Luxor temple"

"Whilst I have obviously not stayed at every hotel in Luxor this has to be one of if not the nicest hotel in the City. If you have the chance eat at the 1886, I have eaten at 3 and 4 star restaurants in London and would easily put this on a similar level but at a fraction of the price. All the staff go out of there way to help and always with a great smile on their face"
