"Plenty of choices for food with Kaleidoscope a great choice for the kids with the buffet. Water park near by and the shuttle carts made life in the heat great. Pool at hotel was refrigerated so refreshing. Had a great time. We will be back next summer, our winter at home."

"The Shanghai La Dubai is a remarkable property staffed by remarkable people. Upon entering the hotel, I was greeted by name without having even checked in yet. Each member of staff went above and beyond to make my stay as memorable as possible. Moustafa, and all the front desk members, ensured that my needs were met and exceeded. They were a wealth of knowledge and advice for a first time traveler to Dubai. My room was top notch, the spa was indulgent, just everything was top shelf, especially the staff."

"The hotel is located in the business bay area. There is a train station nearby. We walked along the canal, which is right across the street. There are plenty of restaurants nearby or you can take a bit of a walk towards the Burj and find more. there are three buildings going up right by the hotel, but we never felt that there was a lot of noise. The little café makes a great a latte that you can take on the go and some amazing looking sweets as well. The pool bear is very nice.There is a little market two doors down in case you forgot anything. We liked the location because we could either walk or get a grab/taxi to the museum and other sites. If we had stayed down at the waterfront, those would’ve been more expensive to get to. Overall, we loved our stay in Dubai and can’t wait to come back!"
