"Staff was friendly and our room was clean upon arrival. We had a view towards the Dubai Mall area which takes about 15 minutes walking. The room was taken care of by cleaning staff every day. Only issue we came across was that we had to request new towels every day since they were not left during cleaning. Overall good stay with friendly staff and management."

"Unfortunately, my stay at Sofitel Dubai Downtown was quite disappointing and did not live up to the standards I expected from a Sofitel property. From the moment I arrived, I did not feel genuinely welcomed during check-in. The service throughout the stay also left much to be desired. Room service was extremely slow, which was frustrating, especially when you expect prompt service from a hotel of this standard. The breakfast was another disappointment. It was very standard, and during my four-day stay, I hardly noticed any variation in the selection. I expected more variety and attention to detail, particularly from a hotel of this reputation. Overall, the experience lacked the warmth, efficiency and hospitality I was expecting. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works towards improving the guest experience."
