"We really enjoyed our time at Christine’s property. It is a lovely setting; a relaxing place to end our Ireland visit. Christine was very accommodating and quick to respond to my questions. Also, a comprehensive binder with house information and suggestions for the area."

"Breakfast, the Poached eggs and avocado in sourdough toast with rocket was outstanding. Dinner each evening was a joy. Hotel with so much history linked to the Castle and the Swiss Cottage it made the stay even more special."

"Mark was very kind to help us with minor issues we had getting into the property. It is VERY well appointed and the breakfast was fantastic! What was particularly nice was the spacious 'dining room' with an amazing rooftop patio. It was raining when we were there so didn't really get to go out on the patio, but we decided to stay in and enjoyed the dining room/ lounge. I would stay here again and recommend. Our apartment was on the third floor, so mind the stairs but we are seniors and managed without a problem."

"We had a perfect trip to an area that we already know rather well. The location and views are spectacular and Thomas and Tina could not have been more congenial hosts.This was, very much a home away from home experience, with a great deal of space and all the facilities you could hope (and then some).Thomas was really accommodating in terms of both our arrival and departure and there were all sorts of household essentials waiting to make settling in that much easier. I deduce (perhaps errantly) that it was Tina who had equipped the cottage with superlative scones, milk (for that essential cup of tea) and orange juice.My children loved it and so did I.Thomas is the most engaging host and is (rightly) proud of everything which the accommodation and the area have to offer. If you get the right sunlight the open skies are incredible. We shall be racing back there and I should urge you to do likewise!Thank you, very much,Thomas and Tina (and we look forward to seeing you, again, very soon)."

"Had my wedding here in August and it was a DREAM!!! Sarah was the most wonderful host possible and made planning a wedding from the States a breeze. The estate is absolutely phenomenal. So much character and history, you will be in awe. You feel like you're in a movie. I did almost no decor for my wedding because the venue itself takes care of everything. The house is spotless and so comfortable. There's stunning views from every angle & window. As an American who isn't a fan of Irish food, this is the best cooking I've EVER had in Ireland (sorry to my Irish family) I still think about the food constantly. Sarah is extremely accommodating to her guest and just an absolute joy to be around. Truly no words can do this place and my experience justice. Pictures don't even do this place justice. this house has everything you could possibly need and is a very short walk into town as well. There's so much to do on the property and kids will have a blast there especially with all the animals! This was such a magical stay for me and made my wedding so special. In the future when I go back to Ireland, even though I have a place to stay with my family, I will make sure to stay at least one night back at the Lismacue house to see Sarah and think about how dreamy my wedding was. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING LISMACUE HOUSE & STAFF!!!!!♥♥♥♥ The best of the best!!"
