"We had a lovely experience staying three weeks in Aguada. The house is a couple of blocks from the ocean in a quiet rural setting. We enjoyed the nicely set up veranda behind the house with comfy chairs. It was especially delightful to listen to the many birds during the day and the coqui frogs at night. You access the beach by walking down the road a block to the entrance. The beach is not great for swimming, as the property is near a river mouth and the water becomes brown when it rains and there is more detritus on this beach than others we visited.
