"The room was clean but the building we stayed in had a strange smell that lingered in the room the whole time we were there. It was a good room for one night. "Everything about this place is completely top-notch. The gardens and hot pools are undescribable and available 24/7 for guests. The linens are the best I’ve ever had so soft and luxurious there is actually a pillow menu! The breakfast is a very extensive breakfast bar, which also includes some personally prepared options. The staff were always friendly and helpful and welcoming. We had dinner in the Terra Nostra restaurant and it was so memorable. The serving staff were very professional amd friendly. We had the Furnas stew which has to be experienced to be believed. We also had a cod dinner that was so beautiful and flavourful it will be remembered. We only ended up staying for two days and on our next visit we will absolutely be staying longer and utilizing the spa."

"Hotel is conveniently located in downtown Ponta del Gada and we had a room with a view of the harbor, which was fun. The front desk staff were really helpful, setting us up with ebikes and parking. The breakfasts were excellent, especially the cooked to order omelettes. We had dinner at the restaurant one night and it was one of our best meals. Only complaint is that the bathroom was too dark - hard to get ready when you can hardly see yourself! But this was minor and we had a great stay."
