"The staff was helpful when checking in. The room offered two beds and was clean. It's not the most comfortable bed but it's decent. Seem a bit of a hassle to get in and out of but you at least have access to a free parking compared to the other places. I'm not sure if they offered room service but there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance of the property. If you're on a budget, it's actually a pretty good place to stay. The owner met us at the property and explained the situation, what we needed to know about the facility, and that he would be working to make sure we were safe and had water. "I honestly would not stay here again. I found it very difficult to get to and from the house and town. Taxis and jeepneys just wouldn't stop. The house and room were nice overall,fairly spacious and comfortable. There are so many dogs outside though, that like to bark very early in the morning. So it's hard to sleep in in the mornings. I would definitely pay more to stay closer to town and in a more quieter area of the mountainous city."

"Griffin Lodge is a SCAM!! We had a confirmed booking on this place for February 25-27, 2022, also paid online and that it is no refund for any cancellations or rebooking. When we arrived, the whole place was barricaded with bamboo fencing.
