"The hotel is quite worn, but clean. Beds reasonably comfortable, water in the shower warm, etc. Do not expect much from breakfast. Located outside the city on a thoroughfare, there's not much places to eat, but we were concerned about parking and proximity to the airport - it is indeed a few minutes drive. Definitely on the plus side - friendly service at the reception. "

"The villa was everything we could hope for and more. The view of Etna and the sea are breathtaking. The accomodations are so comfortable and spacious. Both indoor and outdoor kitchens are well-equipped. The location is ideal for visiting Siracusa and Catania quite easily, as well as the Etna wine country. Our host was so pleasant, helpful and attentive to all our needs. We highly recommend the traditional Sicilian supper prepared by a chef who will come to the villa."

What a Beautiful Space & Gracious Hosts

"My husband, my friends and I had a beautiful stay at this charming villa overlooking the sea! We even got to see Mt. Etna erupting one morning from the patios and gardens! Everything went very smoothly from check-in to check-out. We even opted in to a beautiful dinner prepared for our group after a long day trip up Mt. Etna and the several-course meal was divine, ending with a magnificent homemade tiramisu! I will be recommending this place to friends and family who have already started asking where I found it! "

Beautiful location but lacked service

"The location cannot be beat. The house is on a beautiful cliff side with plenty of rooms for a large party. However, we experienced a power outage (it happens!) but it took hours to hear back from our host and we were simply told he was in a business meeting and to contact another person. For being marketed as a luxury villa, this was poor service. We ended up liking our other contact much better. She was able to help right away. We also left very early on our last day and landed to see messages from our host that we didn't throw the trash out in the correct spot. A location was described to us but never shown. He spent 5 mins with us during "

"We had a 2 week vacation in Europe but our 4 days here were the highlight. Beautiful home, spectacular views and setting and very engaged homeowner made this a perfect stop. We loved swimming in the sea and late nights with wine and Etna. We'll be back. Thanks Mari!"
