"The hotel was absolutely superb, we were there for a 3 night stay at the end of a weeks villa holiday and it was perfect. Rooms were massive, food was excellent, staff were so friendly and helpful. The only thing that we could complain about was the pool area - the pool itself is stunning and overlooks the golf course BUT there are too few loungers and too few towels!!! So we arrived on one occasion to nowhere to sit and nothing to dry ourselves with - not ideal, one family with little children...
"we were a family of 4 (2 teens). We had breakfast buffet each morning. The hotel is steps away from the beach. The sea view we had was gorgeous . Lots of stores and shops within walking distance. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. we have stayed here each time we have come to ierapetra and will return"
"El personal aunque no hablase español fue extremadamente amable e intentaron buscar la manera de comunicarse con nosotros a través del inglés.
Destacó sobre todo la atención de Ramona, la de la directora del hotel y un camarero del buffet un poco más mayor pero con vitalidad y alegría para atendernos.
Fue un viaje muy bonito y nos llevamos un excelente recuerdo.

"Virkelig skønt hotel. Udsigten er magisk. Omgivelserne er stille, ingen larm fra gågader eller lignende. Vi var så heldige at blive opgraderet til et værelse med egen pool - så fornemt! Personalet er så søde, servicen helt i top. Vi nåede ikke at spise på a la carte restauranterne, men stranden og strandbaren var i top. Virkelig dejlige drinks! Og så er der shuttle bus der henter og bringer gæsterne fra deres værelser, da hotellet område er meget stejlt. Vi kommer klart igen!"
"I absolutely loved my stay at The Island hotel and would recommend anyone to book! The hotel was large but extremely well maintained, the staff were lovely and breakfast included such an array of tasty food. Incredibly clean and I felt very safe as a solo female traveller. The pools were fantastic and I easily spent hours there!
Such a treat and I would love to return some day. Thank you to all the staff! "
"Hôtel tout neuf, très propre. Petit-déjeuner buffet très varié, salé/sucré. Chambre moderne avec balcon, vue mer magnifique. Coin piscine avec transats vaste et très agréable. Présence d'un super bar avec possibilité de restauration aussi, ouvert tard le soir; ce qui est bien pratique pour un dernier cocktail ou une boisson rafraichissante. Personnel très aimable. Seul bémol: pour atteindre l'hôtel, il faut passer dans une zone en cours d'aménagement (ancienne base militaire) et pas de plage...
"Très bel hôtel à l’architecture impressionnante et aux espaces impeccablement propres. La cuisine est variée et de grande qualité, un vrai point fort du séjour.
Quelques points restent perfectibles : chambre non prête à notre arrivée après 19h00, passages fréquents d’avions assez bruyants (couloir aérien juste au-dessus), attente trop longue le matin pour les crêpes (délicieuses), café expresso très décevant pour le français et application disponible uniquement en anglais pas de traduction pour...
"Τhe room was excellent, very modern and recently renovated but the rest of the property needs renovation. The pool had problems with the paint that was pilling off and the surrounding tiles were slippery. The stuff was very polite and helpful. The lack of parking space is a thing that should be solved."
